I did a search on your Reuben Martin Wells. I know this might be a stretch, but the only one that was a slight match is below. You probably already know that the 1850 census for Calloway was by initials only. There have been many frustrating moments for me because of this, but I'll take anything I can get. Many of my Calloway ancestors moved a lot, have you tried Arkansas? That was a popular destination for my Bazzell family in that time period. There were a few Reuben Wells in Arkansas, 1850, also a few Martin Wells.
