My friends - There have been several posts yesterday and today about the old Winchester Cemetery in Calloway County. I covered this cemetery in a posting several years ago, from the standpoint that the current cemetery location was very near the water's edge created by the Kentucky Lake Project in the 1930's. A number of graves were moved to avoid water intrusion. Shown below is the first "reading" of the cemetery in 1965 by the Calloway County Genealogical Society, as well as the TVA report on relocated graves.
