My friends - In looking at some of my transcribed records, I came across some Calloway County Vital Statistics birth records for the year 1878 which I have not yet posted here. So we are beginning this week with the first of several posts that will be necessary to cover all of these. Subscribers to the JP and Calloway lists can obtain the full dataset for a birth record shown below by sending a request to me. The datasets for these records usually show the date of birth, gender of the child, if not obvious and the name of the father and maiden name of the mother, as well as the birth state for each parent. As always, your assistance in not resending this entire message back to me with the request is appreciated.
