    3. These are the dates I promised to transcribed from the Ivy Cemetery. This certainly doesn't include all of the headstones but several. I've also included some other info. (1) From J. H. Churchill Funeral Home (Phone 270-753-2411): This funeral home is the oldest in Murray, KY. Their older records have been given to the Pogue Library. The records only go back to 1890 or so, but they did have an entry for Robert C. Ivie (below). Top of page 474: 1901 (year). Entry #2: Robt. Ivey Decd. Expense: June 30 To Coffin for Self $20.00. Paid: Aug 28 By Cash of W A Ivey $14.00, Nov 19 By Cash of W A Ivey $6.00, Total 20.00. .................................................... (2) From Ivy Cemetery (Ivy Graveyard in records of Patsy Pittman): Initially, the Ivie information was sent to me from Deborah Hentchel at dhentchel@comcast.net . She got the information from the book Calloway County Cemeteries, by Judith Ann Maupin. Then my sister & I went to the Ivy Cemetery and got the rest of the information. Directions to cemetery: Take 641 to Murray. Go to intersection of 641 & 94E. Turn right. Go about 8 miles. You will pass a small store and gas station on the right just before you get to the cemetery. The cemetery is on the left side of the highway on the top of a high bank.
