Gathering and reunion will be in Murray, KY on July 23 & 24th 2005. Headquarters for the gathering will be the Best Western University Inn, 1503 N. 12th St. Murray, KY phone # 270-753-5353. A block of rooms has been arranged from July 22-25 @ a rate of $50.00 + tax per day should you want to stay with us. Arrangements have also been made for a meeting room, with a catered evening meal, at Murray State University on July 23. Arrangements have been made for a Celtic String Band, O'Kennessee Strings, for entertainment. Mr. Robert Valentine, from MSU, with be guest speaker. Room reservations must be made prior to July 8. There will be an annual membership meeting and an opportunity to share genealogy information. All family members, collateral lines and anyone with a connection to any of the family names, are invited to attend. A visitation to the McCuiston Mansion and McCuiston Cemetery in New Concord, KY is planned. Clan Uisdean, USA, Inc was incorporated July 4, 2000 and consists of all variations of the McChristian, McCuistion, McCuiston, McQuesten, McQuestion, McQuistion, McQuiston and others family names. These names have documented genealogical connections which have been verified through DNA testing. We are descendants of Uisdean Macdonald, Hugh of Sleat. We are involved in researching family history and genealogy, family cemetery preservation, aid to distressed family members and preservation of our Scotch-Irish Culture. We hope you will attend this Fifth annual Clan Gathering and reunion. Please bring family photographs and genealogy to share. Come prepared to meet many new relatives and have a great time.
