    3. We thought this poem might be nice for Fathers Day it's an old poem from a newspaper that our little adopted Papaw had save for years and shared with us. Don't just honor your Dad by putting his name in a family history when you see him Father's Day tell him what he means to you !! " Happy Father's Day to all of you Dads" Peggy and Ken Gilkey Daddy 'Tis mother who teaches childish feet To run to the window to see,-- "Is Daddy coming down the street?" That, quite an event can be. Later we hear, "I want a new dress," " I want a ball and bat," "Mother, may I go to camp this year?" " Well, we'll talk to Dad about that." Few of us understand his worth ' Till later in life we look, Down memory lane to see his life -- Then we might write a book. Here's to you, Dad, we greet you today With a cheer for the life you are giving To make our homes a good place to be And life much more worth living. God bless you Dad and keep you safe On the highway up to heaven, And may we meet you there at last When life's rewards are given. author unknown
