    3. Ebenezer Morse b. 9 Dec. 1744 d. 23 June 1818 Crider, Caldwell Co., Ky. married Agnes Spiller b. ca. 1745 d. 14 Jan. 1819 Crider, Caldwell Co., Ky. Ebenezer Morse was a Patriot in the American Revolution, furnishing arms and supplies for the fight against the British. He was on the 1800 Spartinburg, SC. census and in 1809 he was on the Caldwell Co., Ky. tax lists. Ebenezer, Agnes and many of their children were some of the earliest settlers of Caldwell Co., Ky. On Saturday April 27, 2001 there will be a reunion of the descendants of Ebenezer and Agnes (Spiller) Morse at 10:45 at the Caldwell Ambulance Community Room. Highway 91 North /Highway 139 North across from the Stratton Inn in Princeton. 11:00- lunch and snacks 1:15 - leave to go to Ebenezer's old home place, this is where the cemetery is located. 2:00 - DAR ceremony, to honor his Revolutionary War service. Directions to the cemetery from Princeton: travel on 91 North/139 North toward Fredonia. It is approximately 7 1/2 miles from the Community Room to Crider. Turn right on Good Springs Road,(all the turns will be well marked), travel 7/10ths of a mile, turn right on Grey Road, travel 1 mile to driveway on right side of road, turn right on driveway and follow the road. It's about 4/10 mile to the cemetery. There will be several Morse researchers to help you trace your roots. If you have Caldwell Co./Morse connections they probably go back to Ebenezer and Agness. All are encouraged to bring any old bibles, pictures, records or family trees. Frank Morse of Princeton is the person who has organized this event A couple of years ago, he bought the property mainly because of the little cemetery that was on it. After buying the property, he started working on restoring the cemetery and finding many buried headstones, he has accomplished a great deal on this project. The public is invited to the cermony at the Craig (Eb Morse) Cemetery.
