POSTED TO THE CALDWELL CO., KY., ANCESTRY MESSAGE BOARD Patent "Pat" Fowler family; 1870's in Caldwell Co.;son George, John, & maybe Charles Author: Beverly Fowler Date: 26 Aug 2002 2:30 AM GMT Classification: Query "Ol Pat" was my gr-grandfather- for 14 years haven't found anything about him except the name 'Patent Fowler' on the 1874 delinquent tax list of Caldwell Co. His son George was my grandfather. He moved on to Crawford Co. Arkansas, married Bettie Richards, ran a dairy & raised a family there. There was also one girl that I know of - Lena B. Fowler that also came to Crawford Co., Ark, (Lena & George lived in Van Buren, Ar.) She married E.S. Dickerson. Charles Fowler is living with the Dickersons in the 1898 City Directory of Van Buren. George was killed in 1897; .. don't know what happened to Lena Fowler Dickerson, as they were not on the 1900 census of Crawford Co., Ar.; can't find any notice of her death there- but husband E.S. Dickerson remarried in Missouri in 1901 !! This entire family eludes me. Have been to Caldwell Co., several times for searching records to no avail- Hope to hear from some descendants of these Fowlers .........
