Does anyone have info on the John Donelson/Donaldson family in Caldwell Co. in the 1840-50 time period. Believe he was born about 1797, he was a preacher. he married Elizabeth LEE, also need her parents. They were one of my sets of great grandparents, and I found that John Donelson disappeared between 1840 and 1850 and Elizabeth is shown in Census alone with their children after then. Any information appreciated.
