Can anyone tell me if there is a kinship connection between the Wells Griffith, married to Elizabeth (the father of Jeptha, William, John, Phebe, Sally, Hiram, Henry W., and Winfrey) who died in 1832 in Caldwell Co. and the Eli Griffith, married to Patsy Cook (father of Jason Jonathan, Asenath, and Edith) who died sometime after 1830 probably in Caldwell Co.? Does anyone have any evidence that these two men were brothers or cousins or connected in any way? I will greatly appreciate any information that anyone can give me! Regards, Betty Ravenholt
