Great, I would love to know who the parents of his father is. His father is Benedict Childress m. to Nancy Jane Burton, we think her last name is. He is my great great grandfather, his son Wm Jr. is my great grandfather and he is the father of Papa Childress (James Elbert, father of my Mom. So please do tell me anything you can. I have visited the Childress graveyard in Hopson Community a couple of times. I know when Wm Sr. came to Kentucky from Charlotte Co Va. I would be so anxious to hear from you.
