His father was James Bell married to a Mary Bean whose mother was a Scott, Robert Scott Bell & Robert Scott were best of friends who served in the 1812 war. Bells' mother had a relative who was named Robert Scott & him and Robert Scott Bell were very close & they served in the 1812 war together. Looking for BELL, SCOTT & BEAN who are related to this Robert Scott Bell & his father James Bell who were in Caldwell County between 1798 & 1830. I believe Mary Bell's mother had the maiden name of SCOTT, all of Caldwell County KY. Robert Scott served in the county court as a clerk in Caldwell CTY KY. When Robert Scott Bell went to AR he served in Monroe county as a clerk in the courts, a judge & lawyer. No doubt this Robert Scott had a great influence on his life.
