Does anyone know either the date of death or the cause of death of C.H. Webb and William Johnson? These two men were alive in 1841 when they were named executors of the will of William Mitchusson in Caldwell Co, KY. I have been told that one of these two men was killed over the settlement of this will and am trying to learn whether or not that information is correct and -- if so -- which of the two it might have been. While the will was probated in Caldwell County, William Mitchusson owned land on the border of Caldwell and Christian Counties, so these friends of his might have lived in either county at that time.
