    2. Great, I would love to know who the parents of his father is. His father is Benedict Childress m. to Nancy Jane Burton, we think her last name is. He is my great great grandfather, his son Wm Jr. is my great grandfather and he is the father of Papa Childress (James Elbert, father of my Mom. So please do tell me anything you can. I have visited the Childress graveyard in Hopson Community a couple of times. I know when Wm Sr. came to Kentucky from Charlotte Co Va. I would be so anxious to hear from you. I still have family in Princeton and get back there when I can. So please write me how you are related and what you may know. I will be so grateful. Dorothy Hester White Harkins

    3. Carolyn - You can access the holdings of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City at the LDS website: www.familysearch.org Once you have located the particular censuses that you are interested in, write down the information. Then make a visit to your nearest Family History Center (look in the yellow pages under churches, LDS, Latter Day Saints or Mormon depending on how your phone book does the indexing). You can have the FHC order in the microfilms for a small rental charge and then view them at the FHC when they arrive. Most FHC's have copiers that will make photocopies from microfilm. Just when you think there is a break from Klez, it raises its ugly head in your e-mailbox. Many unsuspecting genealogists around the world have infected computers and continue to spread this worm. 3. Hello list, I was in Mayfield, KY this past Saturday and found 15 old graves Davis graves. I don't know the county name but Mayfield is near Murray, Paducah, Kentucky Lake and Land Between the Lakes in western KY. They were all inside the same rectangular shaped enclosure defined by a low (about 4 inches) concrete border. In the middle of the large plot stood a large modern stone with the one word of Davis on it. There may have been more Davis' buried there but I couldn't find them in the limited time I had. So here goes..... 1st row, in order of graves situated side by side: Grave # 1, Sallie Davis June 2, 1886 Aug 1, 1887 On the same stone it also says, Lee Darrs Born and Died Nov 27, 1887 Grave # 2 Sallie E. Davis Jan 15, 1851 Oct 15, 1944 Grave # 3 R.T. Davis Feb. 8, 1845 Aug 17, 1911 Grave # 4 Robert Davis Aug 1, 1890 Mar 29, 1912 Grave # 5 Alice Cox Davis Sept 3, 1882 Nov 17, 1912 Grave # 6 Genevive A.
