    3. Don and Vicki, I just read the article in the paper. I'm so sorry and my heart aches for each of you, particularly Nathaniel. I have a six-year-old grandson, Benjamin, and I know how exasperated he becomes over the slightest inconvenience. Your little son is so brave. I knew he was sick but didn't know the extent of his illness. I will be praying fervently for your family. 1. Re: J. W. P'Pool Obit
    2. Pamela J. Gresham
    3. Dear Hayes: I am not related to your family, however, I have been interested in Ora Lee P'Pool Newson. She was the daughter of John Wilson P'Pool. My family has Ora Lee (Gresham) P'Pool. You can see their names are very similar. My Ora P'Pool was the daughter of William C. Gresham. She was born 1888 and died in 1988. She lived in Christian County and was married to Joseph P'Pool. Ora Lee P'Pool Newson was born 1887 and died Sep 2, 1967. My interest in your Ora concerns the survey of the Gresham Cemetery in Caldwell County. I found a book in the Caldwell County Library called "Our Ancestral Plots" written in 1967. It has a Gresham Cemetery on Collins Ladd Farm in Caldwell County. It only has a few graves in it, and most were without markers according to the survey. The interesting part is that it says "Great-Grandparents of Ora N. P'Pool buried here without monuments". The survey was done by Ora P'Pool, Arawana Kyle and Dorothy Fergerson on April 17, 1967. I have always assumed that this Ora P'Pool was my family since the only named graves in the cemetery were Gresham's and fit in my family line. However, when I saw your family in the History of Caldwell County book, and how close these two ladies names were, birthdates were, etc., I began to question just which Ora P'Pool did this survey. My Ora died without any children and no one in my family has any idea if Aunt Ora could have done this cemetery survey in Caldwell County. This question is of great importance to me, because if my Ora P'Pool did not do this survey, these Great-Grandparents mentioned are not mine. I cannot find any other cemetery listing for them in Christian or Caldwell County. The Gresham's named in the survey are the brother, sister-in-law to my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. So the circumstantial evidence seems to point that these are my ggg grandparents. Do you have any knowledge about your Ora doing this cemetery survey? It would have been a few months before her death, but both ladies would have been pushing 80 years old at the time of the survey. Do you know anything about her death? Had she been ill with a lengthy disease before her death, was she active up until her death, was she known for cemetery work, or can you think of any reason your relatives would have been buried here? Did you Ora had a friendship or genealogy interest with Arawana Kyle or Dorothy Fergerson? I apologize for the length of my message. However, I just recently found your Ora's information and have been anxious to find someone who might know anything about this.
