I have a death certificate for Martha C. Lee who died in Butler County Jan. 23, 1918, and I cannot read the cemetery name where she is buried. It begins: Monl. . . . . I would appreciate assistance from anyone who could help determine the name of this cemetery. Thank you, Glenda
I do not find a Martha C. Lee listed in Butler Co. Cemetery book. The only cemeteries that begin with Mon . . . are Monticello Church Cemetery and Monticello Church - Russ Cemetery, both on Monticello Church Rd. Monticello Church Ceme - Lee, J. W. - 13 May 1875 - 26 Sept 1953 Lee, Lura Ethel - 24 Aug 1877 - 22 Jan 1945 (above is double stone) Lee, Kathleen - - - - - 1910 - 1987 Lee, Lawson -----1903 - 1957 (above is double stone) Unknown, M. C. - no dates ? ? ? ? stone between Childress & Mayhugh note: there are 17 unidentifiable graves in this cemetery. Monticello Church-Russ Ceme.
