Velma, The Butler County Cemetery book lists in Oak Grove Cemetery RUSS, Nancy Brown 17 Dec 1814 - 2 Jul 1903. Do you know any possibility that she would have Brown listed as a middle name? I am moving to Bowling Green in 2 weeks and would be willing to go look for this grave for you and see if the transcription is accurate -- you mention being to Morgantown several times but not how close it is for you to go again. Directly underneath her in the listing is a "Hammers, Martha Russ" that appeasr to be the right age for a daughter. Does that sound possible? Good morning everyone, I am thankful to everyone that answered my previous listing. However, I'm still looking. Nancy Brown Russ is not my Nancy Whitaker Russ. Two of Nicholas Russ' sons married women named Nancy. Amos Russ married Nancy Brown, and Daniel Russ married Nancy Whitaker. Turns out, the Nancy Russ on the 1870 census was Nancy Brown Russ. And she had the daughter named Martha. I am certain that my Nancy Russ was Nancy Whitaker, daughter of Mark Whitaker. Any other leads on her final resting place?
