I just returned home from a week long research trip in southern Kentucky working on my Phelps line. I spent three days at the Butler Co. Court House and a couple of days in Warren Co., KY researching. I met quite a few cousins along the way. :>) That was fun. I can take my direct line back to the early 1700s in Virginia. If I can be a help to anyone who's Phelps roots go back to Butler Co., KY, I'd be happy to do so. I hang on to any information I find about the PHELPSes. My direct line going from 1900 back is: James M. PHELPS (1827 - 1916, Butler Co., KY) Julian R. PHELPS (1901 - 1856, Butler Co., KY) Nicholas PHELPS (1759 - Abt. 1840 Lunenberg Co., VA - Butler Co., KY) William PHELPS (abt. 1726 - abt. 1800 Henrica Co., VA to Green Co., KY) John PHELPS ( abt. late 1600s - 1747 Henrico CO., VA to Goochland Co., VA) Mary
