I 'm trying to locate some descendants of Jacob Baker who came to Butler County, Kentucky, about 1862 from Smith County, Tennessee. I have two names of men who may still be living. If so, I would like to contact them. If not I would like to communicate with descendants. They are: Bunyan A. Baker, son of George Elbert Baker (1878-1942), g'son of Dempsey M. Hi I was investigating your Bunyan Baker in the 1930 census as I have some Bakers in my tree (No Jacob). I see that Bunyan lived 2 houses down from my GGrandfather Jack Carroll. So I would like to help you with your search. Maybe we can come up with something. The holidays will be very busy so I may not be able to do to much until after the New Year. The Bakers in my tree come from James Baker b 1793 and his wife Nancy Robinson, They had a son James Madison Baker b 1833--Nancy died 1840 (I don't have a birthdate).
