Two of Nicholas Russ' sons married women named Nancy. Amos Russ married Nancy Brown, and Daniel Russ married Nancy Whitaker. Turns out, the Nancy Russ on the 1870 census was Nancy Brown Russ. And she had the daughter named Martha. I am certain that my Nancy Russ was Nancy Whitaker, daughter of Mark Whitaker. Any other leads on her final resting place? Thank you so much to everyone that replied. I have never seen the name Brown added to my ancestor's name. So, this gives me something else to research to be certain that it is her. She did have a daughter named Martha that was about 38 years younger than her based on the 1870 census. Yes indeed, Mary. This list is completely separate. I also do not control it in any way. The new list on the website form is ONLY so you receive an email when new material is added to that specific website. This list is not being changed at *all*.
