My great great grandfather John J Snodgrass 1841-1914 died and is buried in Butler County, KY, supposedly at his home in Flenerville. Does anyone know where this family cemetery is? I dont know death dates for his wife Francis Ann who was born a Kessinger. Anyone have info on this couple? What is your local newspaper called and where will I find a place that I can get obituaries from? Brenda Sears Michigan

I'm looking for information about the James GRAHAM family who lived in Ky. during the 1820s and 1830s. James and Sarah GRAHAM had six children in Ky. during that time. Apparently, the GRAHAM and WALKER families then went to Tn. and Al., where the GRAHAM daughter, Mary, and the WALKER son, Simeon, married. Can anyone give me any info on either of these families? Thanks very much! Velma

Hello Diane, I can't tell you where these people are buried, but I can rule out a source for you. I checked my copy of the book, "The Descendants of John Moore of Somerset County, Maryland", and none of these 3 people are listed in the index. Hope this helps a litlle bit. Ask the kind ladies at the front desk in the County Clerks Office (straight ahead when you go in the Courthouse) and they will show you the wills. Hello, Being new to this particular list, I decided that I would send in some information about one branch of my family. Ambrose HUNDLEY / HUNDLEY was born 1811/12 KY. He died in Carroll County, MO, and he was my GGGgrandfather. He married Sarah V. CATLIN. On 25 July 1850, they were living in Butler County, KY, along with their (then) 3 children, vis: Mary Arabella 'Belle' HUNDLEY /HUNLEY John M. HUNDLEY / HUNLEY Susan M. HUNDLEY / HUNLEY If anyone here has a connection, or any corrections, or any additions, I will greatly appreciate hearing back from you. Do you know who Ambrose's siblings were? My husband’s grandfather owned an oil company at one time and sold out when he came back from a conference because he said there will NEVER be a real oil shortage only greedy people. So I believe this would get someone's attention. Terry Goodall Subject: STICK IT TO THEM - Prices of gasoline IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME, THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES. AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES. THEREFORE Sept 10TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED "STICK IT TO THEM DAY" AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY. THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY PEOPLE A S YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT. WAITING ON THIS ADMINISTRATION TO STEP IN AND CONTROL THE PRICES IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REDUCTION AND CONTROL IN PRICES THAT THE ARAB NATIONS PROMISED TWO WEEKS AGO? REMEMBER ONE THING, NOT ONLY IS THE PRICE OF GASOLINE GOING UP BUT AT THE SAME TIME AIRLINES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES, TRUCKING COMPANIES ARE FORCED TO RAISE THEIR PRICES WHICH EFFECTS PRICES ON EVERYTHING THAT IS SHIPPED. THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC. WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO! WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. SO DO YOUR PART AND SPREAD THE WORD. FORWARD Beverly
Can anyone help me find J. L. Thomas, who once lived at Rt. 76, Box 60, Morgantown (Logansport Community). I don't know his age and he might be deceased. I cannot find him listed in the phone book. I found a memo he wrote about his grandparents, from Ohio Co., Leonard W. Leach and Rosanna Morris, and their family. I will appreciate any help you can give me on locating Mr. Thomas or his family.
