I know that ther are Wheatley families still in the Perry Co. area, but none of them seem to know about Leonard. Leonard Wheatley was a Catholic while most of the Perry co., IN Wheatley's seem to be of various Protestant faiths. I do not know anything about Joseph Wheatley.
