    3. I know about this book. I have a copy, which was given to me by the author's widow. Bill Thompson wrote it. He was a teacher in Breckinridge Co.KY. It's a good one. Has lots of interesting articles on different towns, people, and stories of Breckinridge Co.KY. I found it extremely interesting. Some examples of articles are: Formation of Breck. Co. Big Bill Hardin and the Fort Glen Dean Cloverport (several towns profiled) Lincoln Trail The Dowell Family(family names include: Huston,Allen,Beard,Murrayy,Kincheloe,Holt & Coleman) County Folk Lore History of Catholicism and others. Small book, 171 pages. You might be able to order from Mrs. Thompson, directly. Didn't see what EBay was charging;but she may still have copies left. I think hers were $25.00 each. 3. To everybody who was asking about the book, I just found where it can be ordered. I believe that John West mentioned McDowell Publishing and coincidentally, I've just received Sam's latest booklet. He has a section entitled "Order From Sources Listed!". Mr.Thompson's book is in this section. So,here's what it says: "Breckinridge Co.,History & Legend", Thompson, 171p.hard- $20.00 + $1.50 shpg. KY residents add 6% tax. Order from: W.A.Thompson, Dept. M, Rte.1, Box 13, McDaniels, KY 40152" A lot better deal than Ebay's $66+!! ----- Original Message ----- From: Linda Lewis<mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 4:40 PM Subject: Re: [KYBRECKI] book on ebay I think the starting bid on ebay was 66 dollars. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gail Bisbey" <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> To: <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 2:29 PM Subject: Re: [KYBRECKI] book on ebay >I know about this book.
