    2. Bad news, David. There is no 1890 Census. Almost the entire census for the United States burned up in a fire. -- Alice In a message dated 3/4/2006 10:35:39 AM Eastern Standard Time, lonny1@ntlworld.com writes: I would like to ask the list if anyone with access to the 1890 census could do a look up for the following people. MINNIE HOYLE AGE 19 born Indiana JESSIE HOYLE AGE 17 born Indiana The family moved from Indiana to Cloverport in Kentucky and were probably living there in 1890. Thanks for any help. Regards David

    3. There are some states that have 1890 census but must be in state to find them. They are very rare. I have friend who found one in Ohio Janet -------Original Message------- From: Alcnwondr@aol.com Date: 03/04/06 09:43:24 To: KYBRECKI-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYBRECKI] 1890 Census Bad news, David. 3. There was supposed to be three copies of census, one for national, one for state and one for county. This was before copy machines and they hat to be handwritten. Often the original would have full name and copies just initials. Sometime copies just did not get made. You might find a copy at state or county level.
