    1. Future additions to the GenWeb Archives
    2. Hi all... Just the past couple of days, several new things have come up for the Breck. Co. GenWeb Archives and I wanted to share with you all what was in the offing. Pam Kasey has generously granted permission to place the John Kasey diary on the GenWeb. It is 73 pages of John's account of Virginia before he moved to the area, as well as his perception of the land in Kentucky and correspondence with his Kasey family who had already moved to the Meade, Breckinridge, Hardin County area. There is also two different correspondence letters that were with the diary, which will be added on the Kasey diary links page. In addition, Jess Scott has graciously sent CD's of work she's done to be put on the Archives site. Of the work so far received, the Big Spring Methodist Episcopal Church South's Church register, Conference meeting info, and the roll books/membership books and related records from the same church during the years covering much of 1848-1897. Plus there are pictures of Big Spring as well as family shots she's sent that will be going on in the photos section. It will take me some time to get the pictures and scanned images to the required sizing for the GenWeb site, not to mention building pages to house the links to the transcriptions and things from the 4 CD's. Once it's complete and up for everyone to see, there are a TON of Breck. Co. families that can be found in this massive amount of information. I want to extend a BIG thanks of appreciation to Pam and Jess for their donations to the Archives, and what it means to all those who will benefit from it.
