Hi all... Just a quick note to let you all know I got the remainder of the Civil War grave registration records placed on the CW page. I'm going to try and get the last ones for the first page of Hensley-Dowell cemetery keyed in so I can load the page to the site. Once I load the page, it'll be available for you all to pull up and look at. My cousin, Peggy Russell, is in the process of putting together a rather large package of genealogy items for me to submit on the Archives site. She has spent the past several months going through roughly 20 years of weekly editions of the Breckinridge County Herald-News, cutting out quite a bit of articles, maps, pictures... a vast array of just about everything. While there are items that relate to the present time frame, it also has ran articles and things over the years pertaining to Breck. Co. history. The transcribing process of some of them might take a bit, but the pictures are something that can be added relatively quickly to the site for everyone's benefit. So it's with great excitement that I share the news with you guys of the forthcoming items. As a result of the overwhelming amount of items coming in, I'm looking at doing a total revision of the main page to make it easier for you all to access what's there. The main page would have the subjects and once ! you click on any of the links, you would be redirected to a subpage that houses the submitted info along with the date of submission and submitter's name/contact info. If you found something on that particular page you wanted to view, you could then click on the link and the image or info would come up.
