This 34-year-old German immigrant bootmaker seems to have died in 1864-1865 since his widow Maria Elisabeth married again in Perry Co,IN in 1867. The family appears with their children in Cloverport in the 1860 federal census. Have visited from California and searched online databases without success, I hope asking again here for any death notice or burial information will solve my longest and deepest mystery at last.
