    3. Hi all.... Garfield Cemetery is now completely online and available for everyone to access on the GenWeb Archives site. Out of over 450 markers, there are approximately 13-15 that I'll need to retake due to camera batteries being low and causing a blurring of those few pictures. The online portion is a combination of two transcriptions that have taken place since 1978 (the other being in 1993 or 1994, if I remember right), and the photographs taken of the visible markers. There are a one or two that I have to go back and try to figure out who they are as the marker condition is so bad they are pretty much undecipherable. There were 12 fieldstone/sandstone markers, and two areas that I took a general shot as I believe there are unmarked graves there, but have been unable to ascertain if I am right or not. I'm going to take a couple of days worth of a break and rest the eyes before tackling the remainder of Garfield Baptist Church's roll book as well as Mt. Zion Baptist Church's roll book. Once those are finished, I'm going to plow into the 1870 census for several months so that some of the Enumeration Districts can finally be placed online. Y'all have a good one....Happy Hunting!
