Hi all.... The past couple of days I've been working hard on getting the Garfield Cemetery online. As of this evening, of the 456 names (some with military markers in addition to a headstonestones), 298 of the markers have been uploaded to the website. As I go through and transcribe the cemetery, I'm finding changes not only in the names, but different dates than those transcribed from previous transcriptions. I'm putting down the dates listed on the cemetery marker. Of those name listings, there are several that have no marker whatsoever, yet it is known they are buried there (from previous transcribers). Quite a few of the surnames have a "multitude" of markers (ie. Comptons, Priests, Whitworths, Horsleys, et. al) and as of tonight a good portion of those are on. In the transcribing of the cemetery, I'm not picking out surnames and transcribing, I'm going from the first picture taken and going through to the last picture I took 3 1/2 hrs. later. If you happen to see where in my speediness, I goofed on something or mislinked something, please let me know. I want to be as correct as possible and the eyes are starting to give out a little.
