Thank you for the information about Sarah and Elizabeth MCCOY. I think the founder, Julie Cobb, of our MCCOY group knows more about them, but I sort of got lost as to where they fit in. I found Sarah and Elizabeth through their marriages to the COBB brothers. I haven't run across the surnames RUNYON or MAY in connection with our MCCOYs. We've found close connections with NICHOLS, SMELSER, GROSS, BASHAM, BAKER and ARMS, mainly in Bedford Co., VA, through marriage. Then, of course, the earlier generations of PAYNE and STUMP.
