His name was Phelix (or just P.H.) Demmings. I'm not sure if he married her there or in Owensboro. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Also-his daughter is buried there, but her death certificate doesn't say where. Are there graveyards that catered to Blacks only in 1947? The daughters' name was Mary Clara Demming(s).
