    3. Hi all... Since I've taken the day off from work, I decided to do some revisions I'd been wanting to do that I think would help everyone find a few things easier. The Census Transcription area is beginning to fill in, but I wanted to make it not only a little easier to see (for people like me who have a hard time seeing small print), but a little easier knowing where you were "at" or "going to". I designed a page for the 1880 census since Wilma is getting more and more done with that set of information. Now you can see not only the ED and page number, but I've also included the "name/area" of the district involved. For that of the 1880 which Wilma has already uploaded, it is ED 19, but it is also known as the Hardinsburg District. So on the census page it not only lists the "technical" paging, but it lists what area of the county. If you all are like me, every little bit of identifying will help. Plus, if you aren't sure where they were in 1880, but know family was in a certain area in 1870, the listing of the area may help a little more I'm going to try and see what would be the best way for not only the transcription portion of the 1850 census, but for the scanned pages portion as well. It might be that I would need to enlist some help from you all in identifying the ED areas.... but we'll see once I get started. I want to make the GenWeb Archives site as user-friendly as possible. While I may not have a whole lot of time on my hands to do researching, if you are like me... every little tidbit that helps point me in the right direction helps to eliminate wasted time in searching. Y'all have a good one! Happy Hunting! Dana Breckinridge County Kentucky GenWeb Archives Coordinator http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ky/breckinridge/toc.html Email to: [email protected]
