    2. Dana Brown
    3. Hi all... Wanted to email and let you all know that late last night I got the update to Locust Hill UMC Cemetery online. If I remember right, I counted about 120-125 known graves with markers at the cemetery. With Locust Hill UMC added, that makes a total of 41 cemeteries that are partially or completely photographed and available for viewing on the Breck. Co. GenWeb Archives site. Again, a BIG thanks to Shirley Alexander Miller and her mom, Louise Alexander for submitting the photos and a transcription of the cemetery, and that of Horsley #1. Also a BIG thanks to Barbara Saffer for supplying information on individuals that are buried in Horsley #1 without a marker or complete information, as well as helping me straighten out my confusion regarding the early transcriptions and notes on the various Fraizer Horsleys. Her husband's direct Horsley lines are buried within Horsley #1. Have a safe and Happy 4th! 3. Hi all... Wanted to let you all know that the Horsley Cemetery #1 is up and on the website for viewing. Many thanks to Shirley Alexander Miller and her mom, Louise Alexander for photographing the cemetery last weekend (6/25/2006). And MANY thanks to Barbara Saffer for emailing me information that wasn't covered in the early transcriptions of the cemetery and helping me get the Fraize/Fraizer Horsley men straightened out. Barbara was able to add information to several individuals buried within the cemetery that had information lacking on their markers, or had no marker at all. She was also able to tell where several individuals without markers were buried. While I had most of the markers already keyed into the ftp server, when I go to key in the transcription for the entire cemetery, all of Barbara's information will be detailed on the page that will have the Horsley Cemetery #1 cemetery transcription. I also want to say thanks to Nancy and Jen for emailing what they could to help out on the Horsley dilemma I had last night. All you guys are awesome... when someone calls out for help on something, you all come running to the rescue. That's what makes you guys even more special! Am now working on Locust Hill UMC and then should be back working on Garfield by Tuesday. Happy Hunting! 1. Horsley researcher help
    2. Dana Brown
    3. Hi all... If there are any Horsley researchers on the list that could help me out with something, could they email me privately? In doing the Horsley Cemetery #1 I've gotten the transcription pages and I have pictures, but I'm having a hard time pinpointing the various "Frazier Horsley" men that are within the cemetery. Help is needed in the form of "deciphering" some of the notes in the sidelines, and possibly a few other questions I have due to wanting to have the transcription as accurate as possible. The reason for asking is not only for accuracy on the part of the GenWeb portion, but also for the Breck. Co. Archives. The pictures and transcriptions that have/will be going on the site will be printed off and the pictures burned to a CD and submitted to the Archives at the courthouse in Hardinsburg and mail to Karen and Bevia within the next couple of weeks. Thanks... Dana

    2. Dana Brown
    3. Hi all... Wanted to email and let you all know that I've got the Horsley Cemetery #1 transcribed and partially uploaded onto the ftp server. I'm waiting for the past transcription copies of two cemeteries, one being Horsley #1, to come in and when they do I can double check against the pictures going on the site, as well as any "no stone" graves. Many, many thanks to Shirley Alexander Miller and her mother, Louise Alexander, for going out this past weekend and taking the pictures of Horsley #1 and Locust Hill UMC. Shirley and her mother also took some family shots at Custer UMC Cemetery, some of which I hadn't gotten yet, so those will be going on as well. Once Horsley is complete and the page is built and linked, I'll email and let you all know of it's being added to the site. Happy Hunting! 3. Hi there Adele.... It's no problem at all. It should be on the actual document transcription, but I can give it here. Her name is Nancy Poquette and her email address is: npoq@hotmail.com . I've not actually corresponded with her, she submitted it "silently" (most email and ask if I would be interested in the info/pic.. and I jump at it. Few do it without saying anything.). And... it's no trouble at all. That's what I'm here for... to pass along genie connections when I know and can do it. LOL... if I can't do it, then I don't need to be doing what I am. By the way, Shirley has just sent in a boatload of pics from Horsley #1 and tomorrow night she'll be sending Locust Hill... so be prepared... the pics are coming fast! Hope you guys are getting some good use out of everything and enjoying the site. 3. Hi all... Was out of town this past weekend, but am steady making progress on the Garfield Cemetery uploading. I got an email from Shirley Alexander Miller that she is sending pics from Custer, as well as photograhed the entire cemeteries of Locust Hill UMC and Horsley. I'm just waiting to hear from her to know which of the Horsley Cemeteries it was that she photographed. So MANY thanks to her and her mom for going out and getting those on film and submitting them! Also many thanks to Betsy Carter Wildes, she found a broken link on the "B" page of the obituaries and alerted me to it for correction. Also many thanks to Nancy Poquette on her submission of Samuel Sharp's Revolutionary War pension record. You guys are awesome! Happy Hunting! 1. Twitty's of Kentucky and MO
    2. I know the Twitty's moved from Barren County sometime after 1810. Some other counties they might have lived are Ballard County, McCracken County, Allen County (listed as Tittry in census) and listed as Tittey in Allen County. John Twitty served in Kentucky Milita in 1812. Twitty names are Frederick Twitty, John Twitty, Francis Twitty, Archibald Twitty, William C. Twitty. They moved from Kentucky to Missouri, and seemed to go back and forth from KY to MO!
