My grandmother gave a speech in 1990 outlining the history of the UMC in Cloverport. The attached text file is it. I know it'll be a while before you get to it, but I wanted to send it while I was thinking about it. I didn't see an appropriate spot in the submissions for Church History. Hi Billie.... While I don't know for sure on the majority of the marriage locations, there are some that are noted in his journal of being at a particular residence with particular witnesses. If that's the case, I've done my best to note it as such on the file. Other than that, I don't know if it was at his home or just where it was. Wish I could be of more help. Hi all... Just real quick as I'm on my way to bed. I was able to add several more years worth of marriage listings from the Rev. James Taylor marriage journal. There are so many that I had to break it up into two parts, so far. The first part covers years 1827-1846. The second part covers the years 1847- Feb., 1853 as to date.
