But, I looked everywhere on the census and could not find a Eddie or Elbie and Catherine Powell anywhere. I couldn't find just a Catherine with a daughter named Lillie or Mae. I just don't know. Couldn't find a marriage record for a Catherine Gray marrying a Powell either, but if it was Grayson County, you may never find one if they were married before 1897. Anyway, don't give up! Do you know where Eddie and Catherine are buried? Maybe someone out there can get dates or ages on them. I will still try some looking and if I find anything, I will let you know. Good Luck! Jesse

Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.breckinridge/4524.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello Tammy, Well, I think I found something. Now, what I found points to her being born in 1898, not 1900. You mentioned Noah in your last post and I looked him up on the 1900 census. He has a sister named Lillie. I looked at Lillie and Jesse on the 1920 and 1930 census'. She is listed as 22 on the 1920 and 32 on the 1930. The 1930 also has the age at which they were married and it had 14 as her age at marriage. Which puts her being born in 1898. This I believe does make her Noah's sister. Now, another thing, their mother's name was Susan M., not Catherine. The 1900 census says she was divorced, but the 1910 says she is a widow, so I don't know about that and don't know their father yet. Now, I don't know if your info is confirmed or not, but this looks like the situation to me. On the 1910 census, I could not find her anywhere. Noah and his mother are in Grayson County, but only those 2 in the household. Her older brother, John T., is in Grayson also, married and only him and his wife in the household. Where Lillie is, I don't know at this time.
