Folks, one of the children of JAMES Bolling 1756VA-1826KY was a son ELI / Elijah born 1785 and known in Clay County history as BAD ELI Bolling. ELI married twice, the first NANCY ANDERSON. They had a daughter named NANCY. It is her descents I am tracking to get to the question to the lists. I need some marriage verification and explain. > Nancy Bowling 1808TN married Thomas Boone Roberts 1808, s/o Jesse Roberts & Nancy Anderson. Nancy had her fifth child a son born 1835KY. That child Washington also had two wives. > Washington Roberts 1835 married #1, Elizabeth Sizemore 1837, d/o Henry / Hunting Shirt Sizemore 1790 & Rachel Jones 1795. > Henry Sizemore 1790 was s/o George All Sizemore (1/2 Cherokee blood) & Agnes Aggie Shepherd Cornett (1/2 Cherokee blood). Rachel Jones of VA was d/o Wiley Jones of VA. > Washington ROBERTS also had two wives as he married #2 in 1863 who became the step mother of his first child JOHN Roberts born 1858KY. This #2 wife was Elizabeth Webb born 1844 KY. To this union were born twelve known children and are very noteworthy in the lineage. > Their fourth born child was DRUCILLA ROBERTS born in 1868. It is her marriage confirmations I seek. (Ten years after the birth of DRUCILLA was her younger brother (Judge) Rutherford / Rufus Roberts 1878 KY who married Eliza / Lizzie Bowling 1880 KY, d/o William Bowling & Mary Lewis.) > DRUCILLA died on 15 July 1967 in Yell County, Arkansas. She had been married to EDWARD HACKER born 1865 who also died then buried in Yell County, Arkansas in 1932 at age 66 or 67. Both DRUCILLA ROBERTS HACKER and Edward Hacker are buried at the MT. GEORGE Cemetery in Yell County, and can be reached from Danville or Centerville, ARK. Among their children was a CLARA Hacker. (More about this child later). In this cemetery is another burial a CANOR D. HACKER born 1886 - d. 1912, and I have no information of this person. (http://bethg.shutdown.com/yell/ymtgeorge.html) The big question I have, can anyone share any information about a reported marriage of DRUCILLA about 1886, 1887 to an Edward HENSLEY and reportedly had a child named Shedney Hensley born 1888 KY. A search of the 1870 CLAY County, Census has NOT produced any clue to this reported marriage, as no person named Edward Hensley is named. DRUCILLA was age 6 in August of 1870 when the census was recorded. This census can be seen at: > http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/ky/clay/census/1870/p4sec1.txt Can anyone confirm such a marriage for DRUCILLA and a HENSLEY? I thank you for any assistance.
