    2. For Carter - Just in the case you did not already receive these: The Jackson Times Jackson, KY December 23, 2004 Page A4 Rader "R. J. " Combs, 85, of Jackson, KY passed away Sunday, December 19, 2004, at his residence of a long illness. The son of the late Arch and Dicey Griffith Combs, retired owner of Combs Furniture, Charter member of Jackson Lions Club and a member of the First Church of God, Quicksand. Survivors include his wife Bobbie Jean Deaton Combs of Jackson; three daughters Brenda Kaye Barnett and husband Wig of Glasglow, W. Va.; Shirley L. Chandler and husband David of Jackson; Rose Marie Bowling and husband Donald of Jackson; two brothers Pierce Combs of Cedarville, OH; William Combs of Crossville, TN; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Hollon officiating. Burial followed in the Combs Cemetery, Juan, KY. Deaton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The son of the late Miles and Lillie Vires Combs, he was self employed in produce. Survivors include five daughters Carmen Watts and Husband Willie; Wanda Combs and Sandra Trent and husband Richard all of Vancleve, KY; Elizabeth Baker and husband Wayne of Wolverine, KY; Julia Stamper and husband Paul of Georgetown, KY; two sons Miles Combs of Jackson and Lonnie Combs and wife Norma of Clayhole, KY; foster son Scott Cogswell and wife Lillie of Vancleve; three sisters Bessie Nichols of Plainwell, MI; Melissa Combs of St. Petersburg, FL; Nanniebelle Hurley of Sturgis, MI; two brothers L.C. Combs and wife Carole Sue of Vancleve; Harvey Banks of Avilla, IN; 15 grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2004, at 1 p.m. at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kimbo Barnett and the Rev. Harry Kemper officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Jackson. Deaton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Transcribed by Lois Combs

    3. Lois Someone posted the more detailed obit on George but not on Rader. Really appreciate you posting them. Noticed today that there is a new one a Joshua Combs age 26. Could you post it when the Jackson Times has it next week. Thanks again.
