    3. Hello Listers, I am trying to find out where my father is buried. I only met him once when I was about 14 years old. I don't know too much about him. I know that he had a brother named Sam, A sister named Ethal. They lived in Whick, Kentucky. His name was Alfred Wilson. They called him Junior so I'm assuming that his father was also Alfred Wilson. There is family still living at the homestead in Whick, Kentucky. When I became old enough to look him up I learned that he had passed away. He died in the early to Mid 1980's. I found the following information online and I believe this could be my father. I was told that he was buried in Whick Cemetery but I could find no listings for a cemetery called Whick. I was wondering if there was someone living in the area that could look this up for me. I would like to get a copy of his death certificate and find out where he is buried. I would like to travel to his grave site but I would like to try and pin point where it is firs! t. I was told that I have a brother and a sister. I have not met either of them and would like to someday. Any help would be appreciated. ALFRED WILSON Date 850201Age 048 Place Residence BREATHITT Volume 005 Cert 02267Death vol 85 Sincerely, Brenda Rainey Grand Blanc, Genesee County, Michigan

    3. Brenda, Do you know when your father was born? Who was your mother? Do you know anything about his parents at all? Does the name Callahan ring a bell to you? The Wilson family is a strong family in Owsley County. There are many Alfred and Alford Wilson's. Was he the oldest in his family? 3. Brenda, You can obtain information about how to get a Kentucky death certificate from the following website: http://www.vitalrec.com/ky.html This gives all the needed information. You can do a Google search and find other sources that can get one in a few days, for a higher price. It normally takes about 3 weeks by mail and costs $6.00 from Frankfort. The certificate USUALLY gives names of father and mother, date and place of birth and death, marital status, burial or disposal place, informant (source of information). They are most helpful. Hope this helps. Monty Reed I would like to get a copy of his death certificate and find out where he is buried. 3. I found a Alfred born March 4, 1911 d. Feb. 16, 1987 to a Mary Raleigh. Alfred's address was given Whick, Kentucky. There were other children listed, Ethel b. May 29, 1912, George W. born April 6, 1918 and Samuel b. May 25, 1914 all to Mary Raleigh. Could this be your father or maybe your grandfather?
