Lois: I think I will ask some of the people who are more familiar with this practice to give us an answer as I moved away as a small boy and the one I mentioned in the story is the only Dinner on the Ground I ever attended. But basically it was a picnic adjacent to the cemetery as a rule there was a church service before. Everyone who had people buried in the cemetery would be asked to come regardless of their church affiliation. But a Church would usually sponsor it and it gave the Minister new ears to preach to. Hopefully someone can answer better than this. Could you'all tell me about these? Still have them? By families, or cemeteries? Lois ==== KYBREATH Mailing List ==== Have time to copy cemetery information into a database?
