Tessie Back Tessie Jane Back, 75, of Middletown, passed away Sunday morning at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Jackson, Ky., on Nov. 17, 1918, the daughter of Alfred and Maude (Creech) Back. She retired as an inspector for General Electric where she worked for almost 20 years. She is survived by her son, John Alfred (wife Pauline) Back of Franklin; two grandsons, Jonathan and Michael Back; a granddaughter, Christina Frongia; great-granddaughters Jennifer and Jessica Frongia, and Sierra Oquin; and a sister, Ruby Garner of Middletown. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Claudius, Junius and Paul. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Breathitt Funeral Home, Jackson, Ky., with the Revs. Bob Frost and Raymond Price officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Back Cemetery, Jackson. Local arrangements were by Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home.
