Mae Smith Fuhr Mrs. Mae Smith Fuhr, 84 of 6532 Hamilton Middletown Road, Franklin, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Breathitt County, Ky., the daughter of Clay and Fannie Gabbard. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jean Helton; a stepson, Tim Fuhr; and six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her husband, John; a son, Bobby Smith of Franklin; three daughters, Edith Sowers of Richmond, Ky., and Faye Sears and Judy Grant, both of Franklin; a stepson, Johnny Fuhr of Miamisburg, and stepdaughter, Diane Conover of Franklin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dottie Benson of Loveland and Toni Nixon of Alexandria, Ky.; and special friends, Bud Brandenburg, and Margaret and Larry Dalton. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery
