The "high" we all get when we break down those brick walls makes it all worth it. Just keep at it, do something else for a while, go back to it, do this as many times as it takes. You'll get there. What fun would it be if we didn't have anything or anyone else to look for?
Thanks. I know about those highs. I've been doing this for quite a few years now starting with my own family. I'm so much further ahead there and when I hit a wall there, I can usually go in another direction and find something. This one is tougher, not having any family to help out with it, asking questions and what not. Maybe thats why I'm so determined to try to find out what I can. Its the least I can do for my husband. It has actually helped him to understand his mom a little more since he was a bit bitter about her mean streak and didn't really mourn her death. She had alot of skeletons and he can now understand it a bit better. I don't want him hating his mom, but to further understand what made her tick. She was 44 when he was born and 82 when she died, and he never really knew her inside.. just the shell that she presented to the world. Today was one of those days (rainy again!) where it seemed that I would try to make a dent again. I did get a little bi! t more information or at least direction by posting that email this morning. Thanks again for your support!! Cheryl Karen <gtskjs@mvn.net> wrote: The "high" we all get when we break down those brick walls makes it all worth it.
