This is what I posted on the database. G Finley Fannie Brown, age 84, of Jackson, Ky., passed away Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hampton Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons: Manuel Parks of Vancleve; Nathan Poe and wife, Sandra Brown, of Vancleve; Curtis Brack and wife, Bonnie Jean Brown, of Maysville. Three daughters: Mary Lou & husband, Robert Taulbee of Vancleve; Shirlene and husband, Burgus Cassidy of Vancleve; and Panzie and husband, Loel Holbrook of Jackson. Thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Oneida Brown, and three grandchildren: Sara Brown, Michael Parks and Jason Brown. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 8, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Bunn officiating. Burial followed in the George Carpenter Cemetery at Vancleve, Ky. Breathitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The Jackson Times, July 10, 2003.
Thanks for the obit. I live in Indiana and I have noticed that Ky obits don't list the deceased's birthdate. I wish they did, it would make geneology easier!!
