Hello, I'm Searching for information on Hannah Frazier (about 1864) and her family. She had a son, John Floyd Frazier (born 25 February, 1881). John's father was John Chapman (about 1860). My Frazier family research ends here. If you have any information on John Chapman I would also appreciate that as well. John Floyd was born in Breathitt County, in an area called Quicksand. I beleave that John Floyd Frazier had six sons to Elnora Wilcher. They were: Lucien Algie Clarence Virgil Homer Edwin My grandfather was Lucien and I was named after Edwin. Charles, John Chapman, would have been part of my family. George W. Chapman, son of Edmond had a John Marion Chapman born in 1860. Hello Molly, Thank you very much for responding to my posting. Any more information that you can give me regarding the Chapman family will be greatly appreciated. As an observation I can only conclude that John Floyd was born out of wedlock. Also, I have no information about Hannah. Possibly you have some details that you can provide. My father, Charles Edwin Frazier, died when I was only 18. His Father, Lucian Frazier, died way before I was even born (he was only 36). And Lucian was the son of Hannah and John. Thus there really is no one to fill in the past. If not maybe you can direct me to who might be able to add more information. Thank you again for responding. Chuck

Hello again Molly, Yes it seems, from what I can find out, that John Chapman had a child with Hannah Frazier out of wedlock. It appears that they lived next to each other. This research thing is all new to me but I wanted to start finding out about my Frazier family. Do you happen to know anything about this? I would welcome any and all information that you might have. If you can send it in a GEDCOM file I have Family Tree Maker. Also information on the Chapmans would be great. Thank you, Chuck
