We've been discussing a pattern of migration from Hawkins County, Tennessee to Breathitt, have any of you noticed ancestors coming from Russell or Scott County Virginia before Hawkins County and Breathitt? I keep bumping into those same counties. How about some who moved on to Madison or Johnson County Arkansas about 1830-1840?

I had a bunch of Boyds come from Russell county to KY. At least one of them, Jonathan Robert, married into the Bryants of Breathitt County (Malissa). These were my great grandparents. It would be interesting to see who came from there with them.
