Hi Shelby, I think Ron would make a GREAT Director. Even though he is from out of state also, he is verrry Kentucky knowledgeable and willing to help anyone that walks in the KHS. I think he's a wonderful choice. I have worked with him many times went I was employed at the KHS last year. He knows his stuff, but he would tell others I was the microfilm room expert. I was so flattered!! He is really a very nice man. He would be perfect. But I thought this was a hired-in position. I know they were taking applications when this last man was hired. I just wished I was better at composing professional letters. Hi Linda: Ron IS a native Kentuckian! And they will be taking applications, that is why I'm trying to get the message out to write these three gentlemen. We need to let them know where we stand on this. Who else is more qualifed than Ron Bryant? Don't worry about your letters being professional-just please write to them!
