Jim, this is what I have for Nimrod and Vardeman. Karen -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NIMROD MCINTOSH (JAMES, PETER1) was born May 1815 in Perry (Now Breathitt) Co., KY. He married NANCY HARVEY February 25, 1838 in Breathitt Co., KY. Children of NIMROD MCINTOSH and NANCY HARVEY are: i. VARDEMAN MCINTOSH, b. 1840, Kentucky. ii. EVALINE MCINTOSH, b. 1843. iii. ANDREW MCINTOSH, b. May 1846. iv. AMBROSE MCINTOSH, b. 1848. v. IRA MCINTOSH, b. May 05, 1852; d. July 24, 1925. (you will sometimes see Ira's name spelled differently but this is the correct way. "Ary" is sometimes used because that's how it was pronounced but it was spelled Ira. I have even seen Ary and Ira listed as two different individuals but they aren't.) vi. JOHN MCINTOSH, b. April 03, 1855. vii. SYLVANIA MCINTOSH, b. 1858. viii. BERTHANIA MCINTOSH, b. May 08, 1862; d. January 13, 1903. (I got this spelling from a descendant of Berthania. Berthania married James Back. Does anyone know his parents?) VARDEMAN4 MCINTOSH (NIMROD3, JAMES2, PETER1) was born 1840 in Kentucky. He married NANCY ANN MILLER. Children of VARDEMAN MCINTOSH and NANCY MILLER are: i. BEN MCINTOSH, b. December 1880. ii. DANIEL MCINTOSH, b. February 1863; d. 1943. iii. ROBIN MCINTOSH, b. 1874.
