Born May 31, 1932, in Breathett County, Ky., to Collins and Martha Taulbee Back, he retired from Aeronica Manufacturing. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margareet; sons, Vernon and Jerry Back, Richard Henry; daughters, Sharon Schamaun, Marti Killen, Sandra Smith, Irene Henry; brothers, Vernon, John, Bluford, Waldean Back; sisters, Ada Griffey, Mary White.
