Nancy Barnett, b. about 1850, on 1880 Breathitt, Crockettsville, page 40D,ED14....has children Jennie age 9 and James age 5 but Nancy is listed as single. She and the children live with James and Perlina Spicer and son...Nancy is listed as sister-in-law and her children as niece and nephew. I have Jennie's death certificate, she is Jennie CENTERS, widow, and the certif. lists Jim Dunaway and Nancy Barnett as parents. Polly Morris is informant. I believe she was married to Thomas Centers...I found them together on the census in Breathitt in the years 1910, 1920, 1930. (I also found a Jim Dunaway on the 1880 census but he was married to another woman and had children. Were Jim and Nancy ever married?) Can anyone tell me more about Nancy or her children? Or her marriage to Thomas Centers or anything about him? marilyn acmc@insightbb.com
