I have most the info that I need, his birth, his parents, most of his children, what I dont have is when he died and where he is buried. Hi Pam, I know you mentioned Stamper in your query. In the 1930 Breathitt County, Ky census I have a friend who found my grandparents living in Crockettsville also and they had a George Stamper living with them. Would he be any relation to you? Sincerely, Connie

Yvonne could you please look in your 1930 census to see what you might have on: In 1920 Crockettville, Breathitt Co., KY census: #25 Stamper, Sigel head age 42 Turner, Margat Mother age 71 Hall, Ella neice age 17. I found this info at the Kenton Co., Ky library but haven't been able to get back there yet. This is my great grandfather and great-great grandmother. Would really appreciated it. Hello, I do know for a fact that they have old newspapers of microfish, but I do not know how far back they do go. If the Library, through the Breathitt Co webpage cannot help you with the obits that you are looking up, contact Stephen Bowling through the breathitt county webpage @ www,breathittcounty.com, he has his own page at that site, and he has done extensive work on genealogy on several families from the area, he could possibly help as well. Yes they do have old Newspapers on film,I think they go back to the early 1900. Marge.... The Breathitt County Library has The Jackson Times and a Hazard Newspaper on reels of microfilm... Right off I don't remember how far back they go; but can find out for you.
